Vintage Heinz 57
"The Sign Of Quality"
Empty Cardboard Box.
Not exactly sure what would have come in the box when it was new.
I cannot find much information about it & have never saw one like it.
The box measures 17 3/4" x 13 3/4" x 3 1/4".
Box does have some marks,scratches.
Still would make a beautiful kitchen display.
UPDATE;
I was informed by another ebay member that what we
have here is a Heinz Gift Assortment box.
He WRITES;
Over the years were made of several different woven
wood  baskets (similar to a picnic basket).
2 versions of the iconic lithographed
tin and cardboard cartons in green and your color.
The green ones were being used when I was
sending them
selectively to trade customers and consumers when I was
in Heinz
PR in the 1960's
I'd date yours to the late 1940's and into the 1950's.
