    Description

    Vintage clear glass Best Foods Real Mayonnaise pint jar.  I don't know how old this is.  Approximately 5" high.  Nice shaped jar with 4 flat sides - approximately 3" square with rounded sides.  Jar is in very nice condition - bottom is embossed Best Foods Reg Design Patent 80918 and also embossed on the bottom edge 1646-C & 21 / I / 1 with a diamond shape that has an oval in the center. Front label marked Best Foods Reg US Pat Off REal Mayonnaise ( B ) A Full Pint The Best Foods Inc New York NY USA.  Front label has some edge wear.  Back label is a recipe for rolled appetizers.  Little edge wear on one side and a fold to the label on the other. Lid has surface rust - does come off the jar.
