This is a very rare press kit for Season One of the FX series The Strain, written and directed by Guillermo del Toro. In this eerily precient series, a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism ravages the city of New York.
The kit contains a 62-page hardcover book of images and information about the show and its creators, as well as other FX series such as Tyrant, American Horror Story and Sons of Anarchy. It measures 10" x 12", and comes in a box embossed with 3-D images of fighting skeletons. This is a remarkable promotional item from the first season of the very popular series. Also included are 2 DVDs of the first 4 episodes of the series. They have never been played, the case only opened for photographs. The kit is in excellent new condition, the book biinding intact. This is currently the only one available on EBay, and is a great rare collector's item.
