Metropolitan Opera Stage Worn Peter Grimes "Hobson" Leather Vest.
from our brief research on the lower tag, it appears to be worn by the actor Geiger in the 1970s.
It is a thin leather vest with a silky type lining. It is flaking and coming apart at the hips and shoulders.
We acquired it from a sale where it was actually hanging on a fence post in the front yard.
The family had no history on it but told me there father was a eccentric fellow and collected a bit of everything.
