Offered is a pristine example of the 1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises "Love Me Tender" necklace, the tougher to find gold variation.  Still on its original packaging card, the necklace presents in like-new condition, with it cellophane intact.  Elvis Presley Enterprises created scores of merchandise to capitalize on the meteoric success of Elvis in 1956, with his string of hits on RCA records and the release of his first film "Love Me Tender".  The packaging has printed on it in italics the titles of some of his more popular tunes at the time:
