Catalina Pottery, Avalon, CA 1927-1937 A Mexican man is sleeping on this vintage Catalina ashtray. This molded piece has a place for a match book, a pipe and cigarettes. Matte yellow glaze has a faint brown undertone. It is signed. I am including a vintage matchbook from William Ehlert Plumbing, San Jose, California. Matchbook has never been used. In excellent condition and measures 8" x 7" x about 4" tall. The original mold is from Catalina Pottery, Avalon, CA 1927-1937 The puece is calked Siesta -a Mexican man is sleeping on this vintage Catalina ashtray. This molded piece has a place for a matchbook, a pipe and cigarettes or cigar.
