    Description

    For sale is an August Smart Lock Pro 3rd Gen (ASL-03) Silver.  I had this on my front door for just over a year.  I've recently sold the home, and I no longer have a need for it.  I'm including everything you need to install the unit, including the lock, backplate, and adapters so that it can mate with popular door lock brands.
    This unit is somewhat unique as it is not a complete door handle.  Instead, it replaces the turn knob on your deadbolt.  It's compatible with popular brands such as Kwikset and Schlage.  Personally, I like this as it is not visible from the outside that your home has a smart lock installed.
    This unit does require a smartphone to operate.  Just follow the setup instructions using the app on your iPhone or Android handset.  It communicates over Bluetooth but is also ZWave Plus compatible.  I had this working with Homeassistant, but it should work with any other home automation setup provided it has ZWave Plus compatibility.
    I've reset the lock, so you should have no issues pairing this.  Just add four AA batteries and follow the setup instructions on the August website.
