J&J Colman, Purveyors of Mustard to H.M. the King created these tins as advertising gifts in the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
This box features beautiful women playing music and cherubs/children playing in an idyllic wood.
This particular box shows age and some paint has been rubbed away. There is a small seam separation at the upper left front corner. [See Pic] There are a couple of rust spots on the inside as well as some scratches and general wear. In very good condition for an approx. 100 year old piece and still usable.
Own a piece of history.
I have only cleaned it with mild soap and water.
I do not take returns of breakable/delicate items such as porcelain, glass, crockery, china or ceramics as they can be too easily damaged in return shipping.
