    Ultra rare 17” x 17” + California China Products Iron & Tile Wall Plaque c. 1915. This tile maker furnished most of the tile for Balboa Park in San Diego for the 1916 Panama Pacific International Exhibition.. Condition is very good commensurate with age and use. Some minor cracks and imperfections in some of the tiles and missing grout. Perhaps a teeny nick to the edges of one or two. Please study images. Very heavy hand wrought iron frame which is original. This company was in existence before all the other early california Spanish revival tile makers like Malibu, D & M. Very nice geometric pattern and many beautiful colors. Deeply resides Cuenca style surface. Please ask questions before purchasing and thank you for looking! This plaque is so beautiful!
